International Schools

International Schools in Jakarta

International Schools are fully accredited by the education ministry of the 'home country' and should be recognised by the Indonesian Ministry of Education. The curricula generally lead to international qualifications such as the International Baccalaureate (IB) or the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE).

There are a number of schools offering 'international classes' which are not fully accredited and, in all cases, parents are advised to seek a tour of the school(s), and to talk with teachers, parent and students before enrolling their children.

2. English Stream: Cambridge Curriculum, preschool, kindergarten and elementary school (age 1.5 to 9 years). Both streams are combined in the afternoon and work in English with the very modern and renowned International Primary Curriculum.

New Zealand International School
Curriculum: New Zealand at Pre-school and Primary level, and Cambridge International Examinations at High School Level. (IGCSE and A Levels)

North Jakarta International School   
Curriculum - American, assisted within an international framework with streaming towards IB and AP programs for Senior High School
